Lofts can be converted to a number of purposes, some of the most popular being an extra bedroom, bathroom or a study.  There are of course certain features which cannot be removed, such as the hot water tank, however most of the floor space will be available.  The most important considerations are ensuring that there is an adequate heating system and you have the correct sort of insulation.  We have professional designers and builders on hand who will be able to guide you through this process, offering you a number of options for you to choose from for loft conversions.
Many people use their lofts and attics as storage space, and if this is the case that is not a problem.  A portion of the loft can be retained for storage, with enough free space left over to make the loft into whatever you wish.

As with lofts, garages may also have another use already, in this case most likely storing a car.  Clearly if you have a single garage this could not continue, however if you have a double garage then one of them could be retained as a place to park the car.
